Word Search: how to play
Daily word search with a new theme in every grid: space, ocean, food, music, sports and more. The grids grow and the words hide in more directions as you go.
How to play
- Drag across a word in the grid to circle it. Words from the list turn into colour bands.
- Keyboard: move with the arrows, press Space on the first letter and again on the last.
- Each grid has a generous clock. Running out costs one of three hearts and refills the clock.
- Find words quickly one after another for a combo.
The five levels
- Neon City: 8×8: across and down
- Rooftops: 9×9: words can run backwards
- Sewer: 10×10: diagonals too
- Robot Factory: 11×11: any direction
- Glitch Zone: 12×12 with flickering letters
Clear the Glitch Zone and the zones loop again as 12×12 grids with ten words and less time per word. You have three hearts for the whole run, and the game is
the same for everyone each day, so you can compare scores. Press M to turn the sound off or on.
Tips
- Scan for the first letter of a long word, then check around it.
- Rare letters such as J, Q, X and Z are quick to spot.
- Words never repeat in a grid, so once you find one, cross it off and move on.
