Night Heist: how to play

A turn-based stealth puzzle. Bruno sneaks in for Mogi's battery and has to get out unseen. Every move you make, the guards move too, so plan every step.

How to play

• Move one square with the arrow keys, WASD, a swipe or the pad. Space (or a tap) waits a turn.
• Each move or wait moves the world: guards walk, cameras turn, lasers blink.
• Stay out of the yellow light. If you're seen, you lose a heart and the room restarts.
• Grab the battery, then reach the green exit before dawn (the move counter).

The five levels

1. Neon City: guards standing still
2. Rooftops: guards on patrol
3. Sewer: cameras that turn every two moves
4. Robot Factory: lasers that blink on and off
5. Glitch Zone: everything at once

Clear the Glitch Zone and the zones loop again: every room has everything at once, plus a third patrolling guard. You have three hearts for the whole run, and the game is the same for everyone each day, so you can compare scores. Press M to turn the sound off or on.

Tips

• Waiting is a move: let a patrol walk past before you cross.
• Lasers flash just before they switch on.
• Every room is checked to be possible, so there is always a safe way through.

Is every heist possible?

Yes. A search checks each room for a safe route before you play it.

Is it real-time?

No. It's turn-based: nothing moves until you do.

Is it free?

Yes. Free in your browser on phones and computers.

What does the move counter mean?

It counts the moves left until dawn. Grab the battery and reach the exit before it runs out, or you lose a heart and the room restarts.
