Gang Run: how to play

Gang Run is a fast endless runner where you control the whole gang at once. Each friend has one move: Kip jumps, Mogi dashes and Byte slides. Pick the right friend at the right moment and keep running through five neon levels.

How to play

• Tap the friend that fits the obstacle ahead: Kip jumps fences and gaps, Mogi smashes crates, Byte slides under beams.
• Keys: ↑ or 1 for Kip, → or 2 for Mogi, ↓ or 3 for Byte. On a phone, tap the three buttons.
• You have three hearts. Hitting an obstacle costs one.
• Clear obstacles in a row to build a combo (up to ×10), and act at the very last moment for close-call bonus points.

The five levels

1. Neon City: fences, crates and beams, one friend each
2. Rooftops: gaps between buildings: tap Kip
3. Sewer: long pipes: slide early with Byte
4. Robot Factory: crate chains: one big dash with Mogi
5. Glitch Zone: anything goes, then the levels loop faster

Clear the Glitch Zone and the zones loop again with every obstacle mixed in and a higher top speed each lap. You have three hearts for the whole run, and the game is the same for everyone each day, so you can compare scores. Press M to turn the sound off or on.

Tips

• Look one obstacle ahead: nobody else can act while Kip is in the air, so don't jump too early.
• Close calls score more, but a hit breaks your combo.
• The course is the same for everyone all day, so you can learn it.
