Dinosaur Game Online: how to play

Dino Dash is a dinosaur running game. Dash, a baby dinosaur, broke out of the city museum, and Mogi jumps on his back to ride him home through the night city. Tap to jump, hold for a bigger jump and swipe down to duck. Each level is a set distance, a little faster than the last, with one new thing in the way.

How to play

Tap the screen, or press Space or ↑, to jump. Hold it down for a bigger, longer jump.
Swipe down, or press ↓, to duck. Dash and Mogi crouch low and run under drones. Ducking in the air drops you faster.
On a phone you can also use the big JUMP and DUCK buttons under the game.
Grab bones for points. Grab them in a row for a bone streak: each bone is worth more, up to ten times.
Bumping into anything, or falling into a roof gap, costs one of your three hearts. Dash blinks for a moment, safe from the next bump.
Run the full distance to clear the level. Three stars: clear it, clear it with no bumps, and grab most of the bones.

The five levels

Neon City: jump cones and bins
Rooftops: gaps between roofs: hold to jump further
Sewer: drones: duck under them
Robot Factory: robots roll at you at two speeds
Glitch Zone: faster, and things pop in late

Clear the Glitch Zone and the street loops again, 20% faster from the start. You have three hearts for the whole run, and the game is the same for everyone each day, so you can compare scores. Press M to turn the sound off or on.

Tips

Jump a little early for rolling robots: they come at you faster than the street moves.
Hold the jump over roof gaps. A quick tap is enough for cones.
Bones over an obstacle are a hint: a full jump grabs the whole arc.
Under a drone, keep ducking until it has gone past Mogi.
