Hop Tower: how to play
A bouncy jumping game: Kip hops up an endless tower all by itself, and you steer. Land on the ledges, climb as high as you can, and keep ahead of the rising floor.
How to play
- Steer left and right with the arrow keys or A/D, the on-screen buttons, or by holding either side of the screen.
- Kip bounces automatically on every ledge. The tower wraps: go off one side and appear on the other.
- The floor keeps rising. Fall off the bottom and you lose a heart, then Mogi launches Kip back up.
- Clean landings build a combo. Landing on the very edge of a ledge is a close call.
- Grab Mogi's batteries for bonus points.
The five levels
- Neon City: plain ledges to learn steering
- Rooftops: green ledges sway
- Sewer: brown ledges crumble after one hop
- Robot Factory: yellow springs launch you high
- Glitch Zone: dashed pink ledges are fake
Clear the Glitch Zone and the zones loop again with narrower ledges, wider gaps and a floor that rises faster. You have three hearts for the whole run, and the game is
the same for everyone each day, so you can compare scores. Press M to turn the sound off or on.
Tips
- Steer towards the next ledge while you're still going up.
- Use the wrap-around: the short way may be off the side of the screen.
- Springs send you far: steer early to land on the next ledge.
