Halloween Bingo: how to play
Halloween Bingo is a free online Halloween bingo game with pictures instead of numbers: Kernel the candy corn calls Halloween pictures one at a time, you dab them on your card, and you race Fuzz and Swirl to the first line. Every day brings new cards and a new call order, the same for everyone.
How to play
- Kernel shows each picture big, with its name. Find it on your card and tap or click it before the ring runs out. With a keyboard, move the cursor with the arrow keys or WASD and press Space or Enter to dab.
- Dab five in a row across or down to get bingo. The star in the middle is free.
- Fuzz and Swirl play their own cards at the same time. If one of them gets bingo first, you lose one of your three hearts and play the level again with new cards.
- Only dab the picture being called: a wrong dab freezes your dauber for a moment. Miss a picture you had and it only comes round again later.
- Points: 10 for each dab plus a bonus that grows while you dab call after call without a slip, and a bingo bonus of 100 times the level number.
- Three stars per level: get bingo, keep all your hearts, and make no misses (no missed pictures and no wrong dabs).
The five levels
- Pumpkin Patch: lines across and down, with plenty of time for each call
- Candy Lane: faster calls
- Owl Woods: diagonals count too, and the lucky pumpkin call lets you dab any one square
- Moon Hill: two cards at once: check both for every picture
- Star Castle: full house: the first to dab the whole card wins
Clear Star Castle and the levels loop: lap 2 has faster calls, friends who notice more of the pictures, and double points. You have three hearts for the whole run, and the game is
the same for everyone each day, so you can compare scores. Press M to turn the sound off or on.
Tips
- Every picture has its own colours, so look for the colour first and you will spot it before you read the name.
- Use the lucky pumpkin on the square that finishes your best line. On a full house card, pick a picture that was already called.
- A red ! over Fuzz or Swirl means they need just one more. Stay sharp!
- With two cards, check them in the same order every time so you never miss one.
