Quiz Games: how to play

Quiz is one of the free quiz games on Mogi: a fast general knowledge quiz you play online, hosted by Bulb, a bright lightbulb with all the answers. Every trivia quiz question has four answers and one is right: science, nature, space, geography, history, sport rules, maths, language, food and inventions. Beat the clock to travel from the Skate Park to the Arena Finals. The questions start as a warm-up and get tougher level by level, and everyone gets the same set each day, so you can compare scores with friends.

How to play

• Read the general knowledge question and tap the right answer of the four. On a computer the number keys 1 to 4 pick an answer too.
• Each level needs a set number of right answers before its clock runs out. The clock waits while an answer is shown.
• A wrong answer costs one of your three hearts, and the right answer lights up in green so you learn it. If the clock runs out you lose a heart too, and the clock starts again.
• Every right answer switches on a bulb on the trail at the top, and Bulb flashes bright. Some answers come with a short fun fact.
• Right answers in a row build a streak: each one scores more, up to ten times.
• Three stars per level: clear it, clear it without losing a heart, and clear it under the target time.

The five levels

1. Skate Park: warm-up questions: 6 right answers in 60 seconds
2. Museum Hall: the questions step up: 7 right in 70 seconds
3. Science Lab: trickier general knowledge: 8 right in 80 seconds
4. Star Dome: hard mode, from chemical symbols to the deepest lake: 8 right in 80 seconds
5. Arena Finals: the toughest trivia quiz questions: 10 right in 100 seconds

Clear Arena Finals and the five levels loop with new questions, two more right answers needed per level each lap (up to four more) and 15% less time on the clock each lap. You have three hearts for the whole run, and the game is the same for everyone each day, so you can compare scores. Press M to turn the sound off or on.

Tips

• Read all four answers before you tap: often two of them are clearly wrong.
• Not sure? Rule out what you know is wrong, then pick from what's left.
• Read the fun facts: questions come back on other days.
• Missed one? The right answer is shown in green. The questions stay the same all day, so your next run goes better.
